SHAY COHEN

Born in 1960, Shay Cohen grew up in Bat Yam, Israel.  He studied and received his BA in Fine Arts from California College the Arts (CCA), San Francisco in 1990.  He has been a leading commercial illustrator in California throughout the 80’s and his photo-realist illustrations were published on many familiar food packages and wine labels. Since the early 90’s, back in Israel, he became a leading branding specialist, helping companies to develop memorable brands with strong visual identity.
After more than thirty years of communicating on behalf of commercial brands, Shay felt the burning desire for self expression. The beginning of 2017 marks the start of a renewed journey in search of a personal language. You are invited to follow the ride, who knows where it will lead.
